Saturday, April 10 military in Afghanistan and the international coalition attacked the
Emergency Surgical Centre in Lashkar-gah
and arrested members of national and international staff.
Among these are three Italian citizens:
Dell'Aira Matthew, Mark and Matthew Garay Pagani.
Emergency is an independent and neutral.
Since 1999, EMERGENCY has treated more than 2,500,000 Afghans free and built three hospitals, a maternity center and a network of 28 first aid posts.
